En aquel entonces, la ciudad de Lampang era un importante centro comercial que recib\u00eda productos de Laos y Birmania y los comerciantes necesitaban un medio conveniente para trasladar las mercanc\u00edas desde la estaci\u00f3n de tren a las tiendas, almacenes locales. En aquella \u00e9poca, los carruajes de caballos se utilizaban en otras zonas del norte, pero desaparecieron con el tiempo y hoy s\u00f3lo se encuentran en Lampang, en ning\u00fan otro lugar de
